Explore and Experience Fort Lauderdale by Trolley!

Fun, charming, and convenient, the Sun Trolley and the Riverwalk Water Trolley are two of Fort Lauderdale’s most popular transportation options.

Sun Trolley

Whether you’re in Fort Lauderdale for work or play, the Sun Trolley is the perfect choice to get around.  Our red and yellow trolleys provide access to world-class shopping on Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale’s sparkling beaches, and endless options for dining and entertainment.

How do you catch the Sun Trolley?  Just use our Wave N’ Ride system by simply standing in a safe location and waving your hand to flag down a Sun Trolley along any of our seven routes, and we’ll stop to pick you up. It’s just as easy as hailing a cab! All routes are free except for the Las Olas and Beach Link Routes which cost $1.00 per ride or $3.00 for an all day pass (Cash Only).

Riverwalk Water Trolley

If you’d like to travel by water, our FREE Riverwalk Water Trolley is your scenic option to quickly get across the New River. Easy on or off at any of the eight stops.

The Sun Trolley and Riverwalk Water Trolley offer visitors and residents two great ways to discover all that Fort Lauderdale and its neighboring communities have to offer – and most routes are FREE! So leave the car behind and start exploring today!
